Ewww, creepy tiger

Okay so I put the puzzle thing on for fun and look, the first one is some creepy lookin tiger. I would like it stated and noted for record in a court of law that I, Sonia, did not design nor approve renderings of said puzzle. Stupid creepy tiger.

Going to pee my pants...

Okay all of my pregnant friends out there since all of you have these cool baby countdown tickers I just had to join the fun. And since we are done having children I thought I'd make some up just so I could have a cool ticker too. So I am happy to introduce our 12 babies.(see bottom left). They are due in 100,730 days! Oh, my goodness I crack myself up!

In case you were wondering....

In case you were wondering what happens when your dog throws up in the middle of the night and you in no way feel like getting up out of your warm comfy bed and cleaning up after said dog let me just encourage you. I have discovered that if you leave dog throw up alone until morning comes round and you exit your nicy cozy bed at a decent hour; it apparently dries up and is much more easily removable than wet dog throw up. Is that a little gross? I apologize if that is a bit yucky, but I live with 5 boys so my yukiness meter is actually quite high so I find these type of things fascinating rather than disgusting. But because I do have some manners I will spare you any photos of the throw up, but just trust me. Stay in bed! Get it in the morning! It comes right up!

Not only does it rock, but it rolls, that's right...it rocks and rolls. The "crust" made out of red peppers.....mmmmmm Here it is for all of you to share in it's yummy goodness:

Graduation day cuteness

In case you were wondering....

Admist all of the happy tears and the oooohhh's and ahhhh's of the twins kindergarten graduation I glanced over to see if Jason and Jordan were soaking up the very special moment as well; and here is what I saw. So in case you were wondering if 10 and 11 year old boys find these sentimental things engaging or the least bit entertaining let me just assure you...they don't.

Justin's Chapel Award pics

Here are pictures from Justin's special day!

The end of an era

I am both happy and sad to report the culmination of baseball season. Sigh, I truly have no idea what we are going to do with all of our free time; ice hockey anyone?! No seriously, it's $6,000 for all 4 to play ice hockey here....anyone wanna contribute? Heck with food, shelter, clothing, we gotta get these boys back on the ice! Anyhow, the twins did remarkabley well and it looks like they will be fanatical baseball fans just like thier brothers; you know when your 5 year olds watch Sports Center rather than cartoons that it's probably going that direction. Jason and Jordan won the base championship with their team for the 2nd year in a row and they both made the All Star Team so they have about another month of ball to play with the Tournament of Champions and then the All Star competition but we are definitely getting toward the end for now. They will take about a 2 month break, play a quick season of flag football and then we'll gear back up for fall ball.

Mother's Day

I also forgot to post pics of my very special Mothers Day! Along with all of the cute framed pictures of the boys, I got flowers from my dad; Thanks dad!, and a floor cleaner, and the final piece to our patio set! Did I mention I love my husband?! :) Although I must admit, if I were ever going to leave him it would be for this floor cleaner as it and I are in love! This thing is like my carpet cleaner, only it does floors! Hello! Can I get an amen?! It spits out the cleaning solution, scrubs, scrubs, scrubs, and then sucks up the solution and hot water right back up! Ahhh, John Martin and my floor cleaner...my true loves.

These 2 are 6!

A little late in posting but the twins did turn 6 on the 11th of May, I know I sound like an old lady but I just can't believe how fast they grow up...sniff, cry, boo and hoo. John and I gave them Ninetendo DS's and then we didn't see them for 3 days. They were completely engrossed....we are considering changing their names to "D" and "S" just to simplify things. Happy Birthday guys we love you!

AmeriKids

Every year the 5th grade at the boys school puts on this show stopping performance called AmeriKids, it is impressive I will say! Jason was the state of Georgia and he did a peachy job! Ha, ha, get it? Peachy?! I crack myself up.

Class of 2020

I present to you the 2 cutest kindergarten graduates! They will join the Class of 2020!

13 boys...in my house!

Pizza:$84
Bonzai Boogie Board Slide:$60
Every Ice cream sundae topping you ever imagined:$35
Memories:Priceless

The 3rd annual Martin Family Summer Splash Extravaganza was a giant hit! And my house is still standing which makes it even better! This year we held our collective breath and allowed the boys to invite a few more friends so we ended up with 13 boys for 24 hours. We had an absolute ball! Water slide, Bonzai boogie boards, pizza, ice cream sundae bar, giant capture the flag game, 3 hours at the baseball fields, the fun just went on and on and on and on! We do this every year to celebrate the last day of school and the boys look so forward to it every year. John and I had a crash course in what it would be like to have 12 kids and we LOVED it! However do not stand by for pics of 8 more Martin children....uhhh, that's not gonna happen unless we buy a farm. The quantity of food that that many boys can devour is startling. We fed them all of their meals on the trampoline which makes for easy clean up! 4 Yankee candles later and I am happy to report that my house no longer smells like sweat socks! Only 364 more days till we do it again!
